Bad week. Computer completly died for a while. I've been able to get it working, but it keeps powering off on its own or going to a blank screen without booting any OS. Called the techies from the computer company and they had me wipe the drive clean and reinstall everything and that did no good. then they had me inside ripping out the computers...

It's been a really good weekend. I got some stuff done. UPS found my bookshelves. They are lying dismantled or rather unmantled on my floor. It's a little late in the evening for hammering and furniture assembly. But they'll look great when they are assembled. Can you suggest good locals only spots for coffee/internet/eat/drink/music people watching in Austin, a reasonable distance from UT Austin. Tomorrow I go and sign the lease for the apartment, go and rent the uhaul to get my shit out of storage and up to Austin, and go visit my grandfather who went in this afternoon for emergency triple bypass surgery...and that's just on my lunch hour.
