Just finished documentary. Traveling lots now.
Back in Southbeach thru June 2, with the occaisional road trip scouting for a feature film project. Working also on a neighborhood development to remodel a house into an artist communities for one or two week cross discipline artist residency. Does anyone have any personal experience having been a participant in an artist residency ? Would love to hear from you about what you valued...

Hi, I lived in a very informal community in an old shoe warehouse in Rockland MA. We weren't supposed to live there but we did anyway, and the managers/owners liked us there because we were good for security and basically responsible.
What was the best thing about it was just the friendships. The worst was one or two people would eventually feel taken advantage of for doing the most for the community, like building a shower or organizing parties. We also had a pervert who made the girls feel leery.
Keep me updated, I and some other so fla folks might be interested in this!!

Well, today they made the mayor of Orlando, the mayor of Orlando again. It seems when the Democrats filed a counter lawsuit against the Republican County Mayor,...all inquires into the Orlando Mayor (d) were dropped. I think people have a right to be apathetic or indiginant with politics, when so much wasted effort and manipulation keeps people from being able to lead,...after they have been put in office. That being said,...I am still disappointed in Al Gore's premature concession. Lets hope his new Vlog TV Network has the staying power.

Please post in MY journal a little bit about what you ride, where, how long you've been riding, etc. If you don't currently ride, say something about why you should be a member of SGMC anyway. Poison, Lets assume you are landing at Nassau, Bahamas airport,..and not the Paradise Island Airport, or the Chaulk's Seaplane. Its about a 30-45 Minute taxi ride from airport to Atlantis. BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS ON THE WAY BETWEEN AIRPORT AND ATLANTIS,...there is a very cool place taxi drivers, Coral Reefer Band, and locals go to on that end of Nassau (SE End).
It is called, Traveler's Rest. Little cinder block structure. They only serve 3 things:
Grouper, Grouper, Grouper. Eat the Grouper, but drink the place in. Side dish, dirty-rice and chick peas. It is near a recording studio at Compass Point Resort...where lots of acts of disappeared to record albums so they are used to hosting all types.
Do you want to hear where to get best conch ...that is 'good for the back man...",...no problem. Just let me know.
