It's been another completely inexplicable day.

Today I am the breaker of eggs. I went grocery shopping last night, bought some eggs, slid on the ice and flung my groceries across the parking lot as I went down. So I went back into the store and bought more eggs.

I was making breakfast this morning, and dropped an egg. Silly me, I dove to catch...

Apparently Michelangelo didn't take his boots off for months at a time, and when he did the skin of his feet generally came with them.

I've been watching documentaries again.

My nephew called me last night. He just had to tell me before going to bed that the moon is made of broccoli and sprinkles.

That was just about the cutest damn thing I've ever heard.

Aren't kids the best?! My nephews and all the little ones from the extended stariea family always make me smile. They have such incredible vision and imagination. I wish I could see the world like that again someday.

Piggies! How cute! (I didn't actually make anything, but I went out on a photography expedition and dyed my hair purple, so that's kinda creative, right?) Teehee!

smile
ayurvedium:
wait.

the moon's not made of broccoli and sprinkles?

next you'll be reporting there's no santa.

I can't stop writing lists now. I think lists may be the key to my redemption. Here's one I wrote yesterday to help me with a story I'm constructing...

HOW ED DIES, IN 7 EASY STEPS:

1. Slides on the ice and over the edge of the top level of the parking garage.

8 things to do to stop being a colossal fuckup:

1. Go to work, do my job, and get paid for it.

2. Remember my goals every day. Goals are important, and the only reason to subject myself to work.

3. Stay focused and pay attention.

4. Use my resources.

5. Make time to be creative every day.

6. Pay stuff on time and be...

Wow, scary, someone on one one website recognising me from another website. I always suspend belief when I go online, so I never thought rules of identity applied. That said, hi, how are you?
dangerobby:
Not crazy at all. Well, a little crazy. Just don't trust anyone!

I predict that by the year 2008, we will all have highly skilled, genetically engineered radioactive monkey butlers. So someone should start mass producing little monkey tuxedos right now, so we're all ready when the time comes.

THE DAY I RAN OVER A CAKE:

I haven't had anything remarkable happen to me lately, so today I'll tell the story of the day I hit a cake with my car.

One day last winter, I was driving to work. There was a cake in the road, and I decided it wasn't worth the risk to swerve around it. A big old sheet cake,...

The fucking spiders are everywhere, and I swear they're laughing at me. Wee fuckers. I will make them pay.

I love my new place, I really do, but something has got to be done. When I first moved in, I thought to myself, "Wow, I've got a few spiders." I figured they would take care of all of the unpleasant insecties that might inhabit my...

I'm incapable of being clever today.

I've been sick for the past few days, and I don't know if I should put it down to delirium, but I've been knitting little chickens. They're awfully cute. I'm going to fill a basket with an assortment of little knitted chickens and use it as a centerpiece.

I've just spent the past hour reading the dictionary. I'm such a huge colossal dorkwad.

"Here's what I have to offer, folks, although it's not much, really, just two simple concepts, and the first one is: oatmeal."

From out of his suit he pulled a bowl and a box of oatmeal, and filled the bowl with the oatmeal and held the bowl up.

"Simple, nourishing, inexpensive," he said. "This represents your soul in its pure state. Your soul on the...
