But it wasn't underline good, so it couldn't have been that good. But wait...there's no option for underlining. So maybe it was fairly good. Hm.

I had a very strange, yet peaceful, dream. I was walking through a meadow, and there was meadow as far as I could see. It curved around the edges of the earth. Above me was the most perfect blue sky. The meadow was covered in a particular kind of plant, unlike any I'd seen before. The plants had dandelion-like leaves, close to the ground. They...

In my bath tub, I have what the plumber referred to as "a 20-year clog", meaning it got started way before I even thought of moving in here. It goes out the bathroom, under the kitchen and into the hallway outside my apartment. Today they've torn a gigantic hole in my floor for me to either vault over or fall in, tomorrow they'll replace the...

If it makes you feel any better, I'm been forced to use my bathroom in complete darkness at all times: a mouse chewed through the wiring in the walls.

I'll def. let you know when I'm coming through. I managed to snag a co-driver, so the current plan is to drive straight-through to Minneapolis on Day 1. That would give me most of Saturday to kick around the area. Then again, I don't want to impose on your time w/ the boy.

I was thinking of calling you this week. Nothing in particular, but it seemed the thing to do. Let me know if you'd mind and when you'll be around. (Speaking of talking on the phone...yesterday, my father citing my being a scatterbrain. I laughed.)
moongirl:
hmm...perhaps...i'll be dog sitting in north minneapolis...i'll see how the dog is doing when i'm there...

That kid's already more punk than most of the people I know that call themselves that.

I'm also noting the giant Millenium Falcon on the table.

And, I don't mean to freak out, he has the FALCON! WOOO!!!!!

I got three new CDs in the mail today, thanks to the prompt and courteous people at www.smokecds.com. I think they might like me there.

I'm so excited about the new albums from these particular bands that I had to start listening to them right away, and will probably listen to nothing else for three weeks straight. I got Shihad, Phoenix Foundation and Pluto,...

I attended my first official SG event today, aside from the two times I've had lunch with MisterSatan (it's widely known that there's an official event everywhere he goes). It turns out SGTC is a splendid bunch of people, and given the high survival rate of those in attendance, I may just attend another event.

Look at me, being social.

A new low in American marketing:

I left the TV on while I took a shower this morning, and when I got out, I heard Sir Mix-a-Lot. I went out into the living room, and it was in fact a Target commercial, "Baby Got Back...To School". There's just something so wrong about seeing little kids dancing around while some sound-alike chump sings, "I like back-packs,...

Maybe the good Sir has some serious debt. Coke habits and hookers can be expensive.

One of my favorite bands (COG) are doing a few shows with Shihad in a few weeks. Should be pretty awesome. smile smile
moongirl:
aliens are really sneaky...they communicate through the personals

as for the marketing...yes it is demented that they are using that song to sell children's stuff...but remember...the royal carribean uses iggy pop's "lust for life" on their commercials and that song is about heroin...they don't think about this kind of shit very hard

A conversation with a coworker yesterday resulted in the two of us pretending to be the Almighty Shatner singing, "Eeeesperanto...Why won't you come to your senses?"

I've had that stuck in my head ever since.
moongirl:
gah! shatner...that crazy man...

and it must have been someone else's ninjas that got you...mine have been on a rocky road ice cream binge...they are also drinking some sort of ninja nog....
moongirl:
oh my...they told me it was fanta....

blood and fanta...not a good mix in my opinion...but they like to eat sweet n low...so their taste is questionable

Though I'm not much of a song writer when I'm awake, I've now written two country songs in my sleep. Maybe by the time I'm 35, I'll have a whole album.

I am the proud owner of one of your origami spiders. It is a part of my desk, where it rests beside Pen-Pen the beanie puffin, a stack of Post-It notes, and cluster of empty, paper coffee cups. That I keep the thing in sight is remarkable, actually; I hate spiders.

I'm quite fond of your spiders.

I really hate it when an author uses a work of fiction as a soap box from which to preach their own views. I've read six books by a certain author and loved every single one of them, but I've just spent three weeks forcing myself through the first twenty-five pages of the seventh book. Why? Because he chose to use the first twenty-five pages...
