Voltaire, you are too beauitful -inside and out - and too special to be doing or be involved with drugs. Cozy, but like you say, cheapass customers, and not being very big, there wasn't the traffic or turnover to make it work for a lot of dancers. The successful ones thrived by nurturing customer loyalty, but that led to a limited slate of performers: the dancers were as regular as the customers. Still, service - on stage, at the bar, from the kitchen - was great. It was owned, or at least operated by, a retired dancer named Candy, but I think she moved on.
Speaking of which, best wishes for your move to LA. Thanks for giving Stumptown a try. You raised the bar. Can't say if I'll be able to get up to the Jug before you take off, but please continue keep us posted.
