This is going to be really quick......I hope.
Interesting highlights of my life:
Wednesday 10/23: Learned two brand new pole tricks, including one I've been trying to figure out for three months now, worked with a heroine junkie at Sandy Jug, polished pole work
Thursday10/24:SORE body. so much pain. too tired to write journal entry. sent kitty to cafe. worked with an amphetamines junkie
that was missing teeth, two crack whore prostitutes came in, and started hustling customers. they got thrown out, but I'll bet they gave great blow jobs, considering they didn't have ANY teeth.
Friday 10/25: Worked with fat, ugly bitches with bad attitudes. also another "girl" that was 45 years old. no shit. couldn't wait for the night to end. thank god there's a lock on my dance shit. a transvestite came in and tipped me at the stage. It was the funnest three bucks I ever made. "Her" name was mellissa. she was really nice. I liked her. I wish they made her outfit in my size.
Saturday 10/26; working tonight at the sandy jug, who knows what tonight holds. going to a halloween party with terra after work. body so sore i don't think i can do any pole work tonight. but i probably will anyway.

Well there's my week in review. basically, I dealt with drug addicts and fat girls that thought they were all that and a bag of chips, put up with asshole cheap customers, smoked ALOT of pot, daydreamed about november 15th, the day i leave for LA , ate alot of dry top ramen, cause i'm broke.
if you have nothing better to do, come out and slum with me tonight at the Sandy Jug. I'll be there from
9-2. I can't say anyone attractive will be working, but i can certainly guarantee entertainment that's for damn sure. even if that entertainment is at someone else's expense. c'mon, I never said I was nice...
You gotta see these chicks... It'll be like seeing a bigger version of your mom on stage...
take it easy...I'm off to work with toothless junkies....
love- Voltaire

your moving to LA has inspired large amounts of enthusiasm and happiness in your journal entires, if not in your actual emotional presence. According to maybes that were maybe-d last night, there may be a shindig of sorts within SGLA on november 16th, just after you get in. If yo ulet us, we'll give you a super-friendly welcome.
-I haven't seen too many toothles drug addicts here in LA, but I'm really not hanging out in the right places.

re: jasmine

Couldn't say. She's about 5 ft 8 in tall, and Amazonian in proportion. Or in nautical terms, she's round in the counter and bluff in the bow. Fleshy, not flabby. And 'crush' was just a convenient play on the profile label 'Current Crush'. 'Smother' is more accurate. Not that that's my preference. Variety is the spice of life. Sophie, for instance, is quite lithe. I think she'd be a good SG, and would suggest it to her if I could be sure I wouldn't be arrested.

Miss you at Cocktails and Dreams, but then, as a customer, I don't like the place much better than you did as a performer. About the only thing that distinguishes it is the comfy seclusion of the private dance lounge, where I was once able to show you my instrument (concertina aka 'squeezebox').

Amused by your recent adventures up at the Jug. I frequented that place in the early 90's when I lived up that way. Cozy, but like you say, cheapass customers, and not being very big, there wasn't the traffic or turnover to make it work for a lot of dancers. The successful ones thrived by nurturing customer loyalty, but that led to a limited slate of performers: the dancers were as regular as the customers. Still, service - on stage, at the bar, from the kitchen - was great. It was owned, or at least operated by, a retired dancer named Candy, but I think she moved on.

Speaking of which, best wishes for your move to LA. Thanks for giving Stumptown a try. You raised the bar. Can't say if I'll be able to get up to the Jug before you take off, but please continue keep us posted.

Fondly,

G.
