hmm...not really, i just really know what makes me happier and how I like to spend my spare time. mptorbiking calms me down, it takes my mind away from petty things.
this said, yeah, i love metal curved with passion, stories behind the why and who and how's of the bikes, I used to really love putting my leathers on, leaving the house early, start the bike and waking up the neighbours (ahahha), but i don't like bikers that much, i'm very, very specific about people i ride with...What an ass you must think :-)

i blew a car one night, it was about 50 kms from brussels, it was 01:00 am, it was on the motorway. I waited for 1 hour for a cab there. Some guy came, he was very friendly and told me some amazing stories about him and the people he knew...for some reasons, I got sticked in my brain that he was marvin gaye's driver while marvin stayed in belgium in the early 80's (sexual healing was recorded in belgium), and marvin lived in Oostende, a sea side town). but i can recall for sure, it's like if all his stories were printed on me but made to disappear after I closed the door. taxis...taxis...do you know Jim Jarmusch'sNight On Earth movie ?

Wow. I wandered over here to thank you for commenting on my set, but was really amazed by your journal entry. How stunningly honest. It is amazing to be in the presence of real faith (whether you share the faith or not). My brother and his family are missionaries in Burkina Faso. This is a small country in West Africa. It is completely landlocked and therefore very poor. I think he said the average income is something like $200 per year. My parents and I were able to go visit them earlier this year. You would not believe how hard it is to get through one day there. From making sure you use filtered water to brush your teeth to having to wear a skirt in 98 degrees in the dead of winter with one small window unit air conditioner in one room in your house. (It gets around 130 in the summer). But you talk to my brother, and to him it is just like living anywhere else. He doesn't complain. He has teammates that are there with him whose churches have made sure that they have almost all of the amenities that they would have in the states, but his doesn't. He still never complains and gets upset when me or my parents get frustrated because it is not fair. Now that is humbling. He has been there 2 years and really become a part of the community. They are just now starting to teach some, but I am really proud of him because they are not trying to force this on anyone. They want to be friends with these people first and then share their faith. I love my brother.

Yes, Stellastar* is a band... my wife and I went to see them at a local club. They're from NYC, I think... they are a good throwback to the 80s alternative scene (although they are new). They have some elements of the Pixies... some of the Cure... some Pulp. I think the lead singer sounds like Robert Smith meets Jarvis Cocker. It was a pretty good show... now I'm off to wash the smoke out of my hair and get to bed... ah, work...

I spent my life really having no clue how I looked to other people. In the mirror, I still see all these different images superimposed and mixed up. I went through phases of trying to be more male and then hating every bulge of muscle or harsh line, letting myself be more feminine and then feeling like I was going crazy, or that everyone else thought I was.

Estrogen had nice effects on my skin, made it softer and less oily, less itchy. Just before I stopped taking the pills, i noticed a difference in the way my body moved in dance class -- fluidity and grace that I didn't constantly have to think about, it was just there -- and a feeling of stability, an inner strength. Now, the more male hormones seem to make it easier to concentrate on one thing. My senses feel dulled and it's harder to sleep. There's a definite sense of a "drive" both sexual and otherwise, but I'm realizing that I can change it by spreading it through me, into a kind of glow.

hmm. i've never considered myself the seasonal sort, but i do like the room at a comfortable temp so sheets get peeled back and you don't get all twisted up in them. self abuse is great! you don't have to feel bad about it...and your neighbor probably got some good wanking material she never even knew she wanted.

I got to be a junkie for a bit, but I'm a little better now. I like the current look, the others are a little more clear but there isn't much lost when its just a profile pic.
