Not much to update. The leg's still sore, though much better. The weather's been cold and wet, unseasonably so due to the effects of El Nino. Boring, eh?

Tonight I'm helping with the surprise birthday party for one of my campmates, it should be a good night though I'm not planning on being out late. The Capricorn Party is next weekend at the Blue Bongo...

So the leg is healing quickly. It bends now with only a reasonable amount of pain in a few spots, but it's not quite able to support weight yet. Still, the speed with which I'm recuperating amazes me. Clearly all that clean living has paid off...

fuck off, spell-check.
I guess it is strange, but it's about personal comfort. I'm willing to try tribe. It makes me less ill than craigslist or WSR, for whatever reason.
-I'll wrap my head around that. I can get behind putting it up on there.

New Year's Eve was incredible. I'd say that it was beyond words, but I'll take a stab at it and throw some words out there anyway. Just know that I'll hardly do justice to the evening.

The Sea Of Dreams... an amazing costume ball held at the Park Plaza in downtown Los Angeles. This wasn't something where the place had been rented for the evening...

New Year's Eve was amazing. I'll save the details for another post. I'll just say that I finally made it home around midnight last night.

On the down side, I've got a number of scrapes and minor injuries, along with a horribly twisted knee (almost any movement whatsoever results in quite a lot of pain). But I survived, and considering how great the Sea Of...

as far as the game goes, I have to be happy that 9 of 11 starters on the offense and 8 of 11 on defense return. We'll have a good team next year.

New Year's Eve. My day will consist of sleeping in, then heading over to Space Island to get the place ready for the after-party (that's right, we're throwing a party that will start at 4am).

Then it will be time to get into costume, and head over to the Sea Of Dreams party at the Park Plaza Hotel. It's a fairly expensive party at $75,...

Hehe warn, I hate to alarm people with my height...it does happen, maybe its a British thing, people get all freaked wink

Yeah I know what you are saying, I am terribly fatalistic about myself..if I am meant to go then so be it but not quite so good at being calm about people I care about.

Cheers to a refill, mine has run out so maybe that means bed confused kiss

What's all this about you leaving?

Please don't.

I try not to let the site/group bs get to me one bit, but I can't help it. I was friends with a good half the people in SGLA (most of the active members), and planned/organized more events (public and private) than anyone in the time that I was there. I enjoy doing that stuff, it's a lot of fun.

For those not in SGLA,...

I've got to get off my ass and take care of some important things. Feeling a bit under the weather and feeling a bit down lately isn't making the job any easier, but it's got to get done.

The more I've tried updating my resume, the more I'm convinced I need to blow it up and start it from scratch. I'm beginning to wonder if...

The meteor shower was stunning. In 15 minutes, I saw a dozen really great streaks across the sky. And I drank enough cocoa and ate enough mini-marshmallows to put myself into a sugar coma...

I've been keeping busy doing some things around the house, reworking the resume, and re-watching the first two Lord Of The Rings Extended Editions. Today I picked up the Return Of...

I'm so jealous! I couldn't see the shower....it was too foggy in San Diego. However, I am experiencing the chocoholism due to my Christmas tradition of peppermint schnapps and hot cocoa, and red and green m&m's.
