I travelled to south australia a few years ago and watched a total solar eclipse in Ceduna. Was pure magic. The silence of all the birds and earth in general was amazing during totality.I have also seen my fair shair of total lunar eclipses. I actually used to work in a public observatory until we lost funding and had to close down.

usually when a foreman leaves a half assed note on the board addressing a particular crew or shift, they get their locker welded shut or filled with 4"x4" notes or some annoying thing day after day. each wussy note equals at least a week of bullshit done to their lockers or offices.
He was doing well last night, we talked on the phone for a bit, not quite himself but able to breathe and carry on a conversation.
Today his mother called and they've had a setback with some internal bleeding going on, so..I hope it just heals up and he gets better.
