so theres drama at work...and if the shit continues, i may be forced to start looking elsewhere.
this is not to say that im being handed my hat. its not that bad, at the moment. but i know me...and when i start getting shit from bosses, i start throwing shit back at them. im about as insubordinate as you can get.
i know....youre shocked.
notable examples:
1. working at great adventure...one of my supervisors was a pushy bitch who seemed to enjoy having the little power they gave her. i psychoanalyzed her to her face, and i must have touched a nerve, because she didnt say a word, she just turned purple and walked away.
2. working at lowes. it ws 15 minutes past when my shift was over and nobody had relieved me. i had called up to the front 3 times to get someone to come down and paul, one of the managers said something to me about my job obviously not being important to me. i responded by telling him that if he tried to fire me for leaving when my shift was over i would, "get the ACLU on your ass so quickly, your fucking head will spin off," then hung up the phone. i was relieved about 45 seconds later. thankfully, he didnt call my bluff. im a straight white male. the ACLU would have told me to go fuck myself.
3. also working at lowes...after i put in my two weeks, my goal was to see how long it took me to piss them off enough to fire me. it was 2 days. the first day, i came in an hour late without calling ahead to let them know. (i was also stoned, but thats beside the point) the second day, i called in half an hour after i was supposed to be there and told them, "i cant come in because i have diarrhea." (i didnt) that was it.
4. my favorite story is when i was working at this gas station on the night shift. my boss was one of those people who could never say anything to your face. if she had an issue with something you did, shed put up a note on the bulletin board and say, "someone on the third shift did...." this really agitated me. so i took down her letter and corrected all the spelling and grammar mistakes with a red pen.
i really hope these people dont end up bringing my asshole side out. i like this job.
