You're soooo right about that! When the Beatles first came out in this country, with "I want to hold your hand", I personally said they wouldn't last! I was into the Beach Boys, and classic rock & roll at the time. This new shit from England, was only going to be a short fad! ha ha Boy was I ever fucking wrong! The English invasion was unbelieveable! Lasted for several years! Interesting, though, the Beatles thought Brian Wilson was a genius! And, of course, they were right!
I feel privileged to have seen them in person!

ps . . . I saw the Beach Boys back then, in person, too!

It was nothing too terrible, and even then I mostly attribute it to "That Guy" diffusing what he considered a threatening situation (i.e. two intelligent girls conversing with each other. SHOCKING!)

Seriously, keep your ear to the ground for any bar that has just lost someone. I just happened to wander in at the right time at the two places I worked. I've been offered other jobs since by people who are just looking for someone to hire. Bartending jobs come up more often than you'd suppose. Or maybe that is just around here, I imagine in a college town it would be harder.

I'm studying Lit. I'm already incredibly bored. Intensive study gets really redundant after a while. I actually miss survey courses.

That's what I REALLY have to work on stopping, but thankfully I"m working pretty good on my design projects now.
