today begins my life as a bagel shop prep cook. My shift started at 7 am. Usually I'll be working Saturdays and Sundays 6-2. It seems pretty awesome so far. Most of the people I'll be working with are girls, which is actually pretty awesome compared to the testosterone drenched competition of the pizza shop. The bagel place is also a lot cleaner than the pizza shop was- hardly any meat to be dealth with, and everyone washes their hands constantly and keeps their workstations super clean. I can dye my hair and pierce my face however I please too. The only shitty thing (other than getting up really early, which I'll get used to) is the low pay. I'll be making more than two dollars an hour less than before. But I think it's okay because I'll hardly have any responsibility and won't have to deal with customers.
