I can understand your position. Plane tickets really are too expensive, especially considering how they're able to slide from reasonable to outlandishly expensive.
If you're not going to be able to meet your first goal though, you really should make it an extra priority to fulfill the rest. Otherwise it really was a waste, y'know?
