Thanks! I can't wait. It is a healthy was to fulfill my masochism It is also just in my genes, my whole family is super active. My brother is a bike mechanic, sister and dad both have completed the marathon. I mainly decided to do it because my sister's husband was going to be doing it with her, but he had to deploy. So I get to get in super good shape, be proud of myself, and be there for my sister when her other half is gone. Plus running is like meditation to me.

Very true. Since I work in healthcare.. I have to say to myself, "Everyone is fighting their own war" very often when a patient is getting to me, so I don't go off on them, lol. Then I always try to imagine being the, and it helps.

Thank you! We're not going to starve (luckily, my wife has a well-paying job) and perverse as I am, I do see the management side of it, as they're trying to keep the company (a for-profit university with, as it turns out, a less-than-perfect business model) afloat. But loyalty only goes so far, and much as I hate looking for another job, that's what I'm doing now. Thank you for the good wishes...and don't call me mister, ma'am! ;-)
