I don't want to go to work tonight. Anyone know how I can get out of it, short of getting hit by a car?
I should also mention, to anyone who has noticed that I have not in fact moved. I'm simply playing postal code roulette to see where I end up. The first one was a postal code remembered from childhood.

So we finally got a chance to replace Seaytee's fish, which I killed after using water cleaner rather than water conditioner. Also got some more gravel. After putting the black fish in with the black gravel we realized our mistake.

So the 17.5 work day (sorta) is over, but I can't seem to go to sleep. That's why I'm playing on here. On the bright side my recent activity has finally pushed me over 1000 comments.

Things are back to normal with the GF. I apologized for being an tactless clod, and she apologized for not listening to me when I told her I don't like the country. She's still trying to gently get me to change my mind on taking time off. It will probably work eventually, but I don't really want her to know that.

So I bought tickets today. I'm going to be doing something for the first time on November 17. I'm travelling for a concert. Of course I'm also following a band for the first time also. NIN in Edmonton on Nov 16, followed by the same show in Calgary on the 17. Also first time in that other Alberta city.

But its crazy out of hand. I have already heard accounts of transit police stopping people because other passengers mistake their ipods for detonation devices whatever People just get anstsy and think that people are out for them. When I was in high school in Saskatoon and the first Gulf war broke out, a teacher told us we should be vigilant because there was a military base in Dundurn, Sask. that could be a target. A TEACHER, for chrissakes.

I bet the terrorists are kicking themselves for putting out that list saying they would attack Canada. "Aw, darn, we actually have to attack them now to keep up appearances?" Maybe they'll just try to take out one of our embassies somewhere. Not that that's good, but if it has to be something I'd prefer that.
