i hear ya Snow. i've been feeling quite uninspired and down myself lately and this is even while i am away in colorado playing music for people..the past week has been real tough and im just taking things one moment at a time and trying to get through this rut..i really hope things turn around for you Snow. obviously music helps, dancing helps.. for some reason listening to 80's music sometimes gets me going..hang in there. the inspiration will come..i am waiting for it myself and just holding on to hope..

If I did a painting of you...would you write a poem for it?

I don't wanna use any image of you from the site to do my painting, nor any image that was taken by somebody other than you or I...is that possible? The reason is rights to the art would be a difficult mess, (if I didn't shoot the image,) Or... we could agreed upon something using an image you already own that you have rights to. Other than all that legal crap, I would love to work together on creating something wild and meaningful. I've shown in galleries around the world, and am very serious about getting a show this year. So...this isn't some pathetic ploy to gain your attention on this site...this is the real deal. If youre so inclined to email me (richard@lowbrowlabs.com) about details, please do so. I want to start a dialogue about what it is we want to accomplish in our piece. I'm excited that between your inherent charisma and elegant words...and my artistic skills, we can create something grand.

When was the last time you wanted to say it all to the right person? To have it all come out right, to surprise yourself at how together you could be. When was the last time you ever met someone who made you want to give it all to them? I mean give yourself to them. Where you couldn't express yourself enough - like you wanted to cut off one of your arms to be understood. That's it - you would cut your head off to have someone understand you. I can't talk to anyone. I'm the only one here. Alone in my head. I have no one to talk to and I know that's for the best somehow. When I'm by myself, I know that I'm in the right place because as long as I'm alone, I'm not making a damn fool out of myself. I could kick myself for all the times I thought I could ever.....Fuck it, I'm all alone.

Well, I wish it was more like winter around these parts. The grass doesn't ever stop growing and the flowers don't ever stop blooming around here...I think it's better to have a period of hibernation, though, makes you appreciate the sunny times that much more. Same goes with a little respid from SG...

scrounging through stuff at my mom's house at x-mas i found my copy of rankin-bass' The Hobbit. I am sooo stoked. It gives me chills when i hear the trolls and the goblins in the goblin caves.
