As I was saying a few weeks ago, I came across some "poems" that I wrote for creative writing class. These are dated January 15, 1995......so that would make me a whopping 15 years old and a sophomore in high school. Reading them now brings back fond and not so fond memories. They sort of freeze that moment in time, much like a photograph. They are cheesy to say the least.........
Here is one. Yeah Yeah don't laugh....I think this was the second poem I EVER wrote. I am pretty sure it was supposed to be a song, but I can't remember.
She listens, with the idea that she has won
She lives, with her mind which comes undone
And wonders, how it could not be easier
And ponders, as it slowly starts to please her
She deals, with the thoughts of her appearance
She knows, that now she may have a chance
And sometimes, tears may come to her eyes
And often, they are hidden because of the lies
She falls, knowing it won't be the same
She hopes, that someone is there to blame
And somehow, she wishes that he hadn't gone
And why, when she loved every song
And one day, maybe it will be okay
And someday, maybe she'll want to stay
Silly
I have a second job *patting myself on the back*. So now I am a tiny bit closer to my $4000 goal to attend my piercing apprenticeship. So massage therapist by day, peep show girl by night. Heeheee! Yeah you should come see me dance, I am a real HAM.
Sleep now in this desert silence.
Fall into this velvet landmine.
Foreign eyes dream of unwanted desires.
My own arms carved into disbelief.

Remember in the SG groups how someone had said "We are kind of like celebritiess, no?" Don't know if you saw that.
I kind of agree, b/c i said hi to you last night at Dantes briefly, and it was so weird to recognize you, you know?
anywyas, It's so scary at how close our journal entries are today, I put some old poems in mine too. just thought I'd comment on that.
