Welcome back, Too bad I've wander off again. I will be back many times tho. I'm finding I miss product engineering. Manufacturing is slow, boring, and they don't have any money to spend. Australian machines run funny too. I'm working another angle there. May end up in Royal oak after all[ one can only hope]. I can envision rolling down main street in ROMI on the Harley or in the new Saleen as we speak. I'm in the mood for a dangerous street drag race on Woodward right now. Any Chevys around want to experience a 32 valve Ford's tail lights getting smaller.

Yeah, really wish I could see that spectacle this year, but alas I have missed the window. I've heard that driving it is nearly futile if your car tends to get hot, as most street rods do, but a good lawn chair at ROMI is the best venue. Maybe the singing Saleen will make it next year. Missed you this cycle, but I'm like bad luck, always coming back. For Some reason[missing Mexican transmissions I believe] my 6 to 8 weeks is now more like 12 weeks[mid October]. So since there is time, my white California has turned to Black. Madam LaPlace hates red so that's out. Other colors are hideous.

Good discipline, its easy to go on vacation and forget the running. And ... you have real hills there! Makes it that much more fun doesn't it. As an 80 year old marathoner once told me, "hills are just speed without the wind".

That car is an '07 exact copy of the '08 I ordered. I think it lives in Cleveland. I just sit and dream 'til October and of course buy fast shiny stuff for under the hood. I'll be in D from Aug 2 thru Aug 7, but alas, you won't be. Asi es la vida. I have regained my composure enough to settle for 400 horsepower. 5 is just too ... unruly.
