Update: The dog got a reprieve owing to my mistaking a minor electrical problem for a major one, so now we're both dirty. Nevertheless, I got a lot of plumbing and laundry done in the meantime.

My milkshake still brings all the boys to the yard.

It's been nice here, up until tonight, when it snowed a few inches, all of which will go away tomorrow when it gets up to 45 and rains.

I'll try to bring some sunshine with me.

I hear you on the house thing. When I needed to spruce the old place up when it went up for sale, it did nothing but rain for weeks, finding every leak in the roof. 3,000 sq. ft. of 4" thick, minimally raked flat roof is a real pain to find leaks in.

Not to mention the grading/drainage issues that sent gallons of water heading into the floor drain in the garage from the parking lot every time things got serious.

Not my problem anymore, thank god. There's something to be said for developers buying for teardown, as much as I hated to see the place go after putting so much work into it.

So, I'm delayed at the SLC airport, and there is a woman in a wheelchair here who has a plastic breastplate over her torso. It appears to be orthotic, but has a plunging neckline and is printed in chantilly lace.

I'm a bit confused but I feel like I should give her a "You go!" just to be sure.
