Went to a walk-in clinic/ER type place near Garden City tonight to see a doc..... $75 got me a diagnosis and a full ten-day-supply of sample antibiotics...... not too bad for no health insurance, I guess.
No booze for 10 days, but at least I'll be off the meds in time to celebrate my new digs on June 1st.....

your idea of a good time = my idea of a good time...believe me. (except the part about the frat boys...i could live happily w/o them). this weekend was an anomaly. but, sometimes it's good to change things up a bit, if for nothing more than a new experience or 4.
here's ma theory:
you see, i like scary films. but lately i think they've lost their abilty to truly frighten me. i respect them and see where they're going, but as to being able to elicit a "real" emotional response...well, it hasn't happened in a long time. i took this weekend as an opportunity to see something really scary.
oh, reina, i can handle the filmed slaughterhouse or abbatoir, but these "meat" markets have those beat hands down. my stomach was turning and my head was about to explode. death by dance music and skank...
don't make me go back there please.
