All the science geeks I know are also game players! Both appeal to people who like to think and try things out to see what works. A game gives you a safe space to do that where at the end, if your idea was bad, no one's research funding or reputation is at risk.

It was nice to meet you too. Haha, it's ok, I could tell you were well intended and just trying to be friendly and that it was just a innocent mistake =). I recognized your face as well from your set in MR (I specifically was a fan of When the Levee Breaks) but I also couldn't recall your hopeful name so I just kept quite, haha.
I actually get confused with Squeak a lot, in a way it's flattering because I think she's a sweetheart. Although it's also alittle frustrating because I know it happens because she is generally more well known (not that it's a competition, or I begrudge her for it, since we are all supportive of each other here, it's just easy to pick up on that kind of thing, If you know what I mean) not a single set Squeak has ever submitted hasn't gone live (that's 11 out of 11), and I have quite a less successful track record, hahaha ::facepalm:: (I've only had 6 out of 12 bought O_O). .
My boyfriend laughed because he thinks its funny how often I am confused for her (he was there with me when you met me) just because we have pretty dramatically different facial features, builds, heights, body mods, my head is half shaved, and we have quite different cup sizes, haha. Then again, he dates me so I'm sure it's much more obvious to him then it would be to someone else, haha. Also most of the time if I go to a club or an event it will be in NYC since I live near there, while most of the things she goes to would be in Philly since she lives near there 
.
Although me and her both often wear synthetic dreads in our sets, draw on our eyebrows, wear a lot of make up, and have a similar style/aesthetic which is in pretty stark contrast to the mostly natural looking trend the site has 90% of the time.
Although I can empathize with what happened because you can imagine working at conventions and meeting 10-20 SG's (who potentially can look pretty different from their sets IRL) how hard it can be to sometimes guess which "girl" they are since you don't want to accidentally insult anyone.
Anyway it was nice meeting you, hope you had fun.
I'm not sure how long you stayed but did you see when that little 14 year old kid steped in on the drums for Trevor from Imperative Reaction? I was pretty blown away, He's a little drum prodigy xp.

Happy to pour you a drink, but I got no need to vent. I'm a happy camper. I ask out of curiosity more than needing to bitch, this being single thing is incredibly foreign to me. So I'm learning the rules as I go, but I really don't enjoy the game.

Yeah I think I was going to sleep about the time that your Third times the charm pic was posted. Too many glasses of ice tea at my cousins when I was helping him pour cement led me to staying up a bit later than I thought I would be. Oh well, it's my weekend.
