Wow, Ant really does a good job with the whole gift presentation. Lately I've just been lucky to remember to take the price tag off.

You really need to do a set with some of your food in it. Or, a power tools set.

Okay, much love to you. kiss

I travel'd thro' a Land of Men,
A Land of Men & Women too,
And heard & saw such dreadful things
As cold Earth wanderers never knew.

Well the food in london could be better but we do get some great food too.

Yes Indian food is good, but the industry is so advanced now that several mass suppliers have popped up and the food is the same in a lot of places. I work in a big Indian/asian area and the local indian place is second to none. The sauce is gorgeous even if the meat quality isn`t as good as some of the top restaurants, but the food tastes better. All the locals eat there and the menu isn`t that extensive, but what they do is really good. The prices are good too.

Chinese food is good too with many great restaurants.

Turkish food is another hit, many traditional places have oppened in the more turkish areas, so you can get lots of quality food. Iskender Kebab is my favorite. A thick layer of bread covered in fresh yougurt, covered with doner kebab, then butter and tomatoes hot sause. Yum. There are one or two places that make their own doner (as opposed to a frozen supplier) and they are gorgeous.

But you have to know where to go.

Another big hit in England is the Sunday Roast which a few places are doing really well.

And cake. England is second to none for cake.

Crumpet is another word for `a sexy girl` my bit of crumpet

wink

oddly I went to Red Lobster the other week and they had this awesome hot apple thing with ice cream that capped off a good feat with friends. Since then I wandered into a Pizzaria Uno which has a 2 person hot chocolate chip cookie with chocolate syrup, ice cream and whipped cream - had two in 2 days I think. Also watched Troy but seem to recall Menelaus surviving in the Illiad and actually living happily ever after with Helen...

I'm just a member, booo. Talking about "Troy" it wasnt that bad, I had for some reason pictured it in my head as a really bad movie. Maybe I just liked it because Eric Bana looked like Bruce in it. Hmm.. I feel so good right now, I just finished my classes and I did so good, even if things have been pretty fucked up around here. First I got sick of all the stress, and then the tsunami happend and killed my boyfriends oldest friend and the singer in his band, so it havent been easy to keep up doing school stuff lately but now it's done for now and I can relaxe! Even if I need to find more jobs, I'm a freelance writer. I've had my own column for years but I'm done with that now too, so... new things here we go. Where do you work? Have you been there a long time?
