if you're still in the washer, you're on the table, one of two, usually the 1' x 2', in five minutes...
the same for the dryer.
if you're on the table for more than a couple of days you end up on the bricks... ARRR!!!

I have pointed out to cabbies that they drove in circles for 30 minutes running up the meter. Its happened twice. I didn't pay the screwed up fare either.

karma is good... don't know if i'd go to my reunion, probably be full of people i didn't want to ever see again!

it's fantastic you put a pic of yrself on every entry love
commonman:
Lousy cab driver make me crazy! I had the same problem last time I was in Montreal. I've never been to Stephanie's. I have no excuse for that.

I hate to say it, but completing the circle of karma is the best reason for going to a reunion.

Hey Maxi

I've been thinking about writing you since you
kindly accepted my invite to become friends a
few week back.

First of all, that is a lovely photo in this journal.
It looks like the Kilmainham Gaol in Ireland, where the Rebel Leaders were taken and shot
after the Easter Rising, but from the lightness of
the dress I would say a warmer climate is probable. Pardon me, my best moments are often when I think I am Sherlock Holmes.

What I think is we were both married to a person
with the same disposition. Your journal todays
is all too familiar. Of all the worst ways to try to hang on to somebody, the one by spite is the
largest pain in the ass of them all. It took my
X and me 12 years to talk to one another once
we split, ten miserable years of hell because there was a kid involved, and I wasn't about to
abandon him, so had to live through the misery
of her snapping the whip when she saw that
"weakness" in me. A real man, I suppose, would have just walked out on his son, and not
left a door open through which she could still play a role in my life.

But you know what. Even assholes like me and
her get to grow up. I did some long time in 12
step movement, and finally learned how to give
away a good deal of my own most self destructive stuff, and she saw that I was working, and we started to talk a little, then a
little more, and then when a business I was running failed, she told me she could give me
the top floor in our old house if I needed it until
I got back on my feet. By then she had found
what she was looking for: the same thing I was,
actually, another woman. Seriously, she was
now openly and proudly gay, and fair play to her. So I took the floor, and still live here, and
she is moving around downstairs. Sometimes,
you fucking marry the wrong person. Or better,
most of us grow new personalities based on new
interests and new self discoveries every five to seven years, so it's no more marriages for me.

I truly wish you well with what you are dealing
with. You have a friend out here in California
who would be happy to write, send emails
whatever, if you need someone to talk about
these things with. If the situation sucks, I am
nonetheless glad to have the opportunity to say
hello. I like to actually to try and see if I can
find a new friend among my friends here at SG.
So great, powerful feeling, when that happens.
Always worth a try.

Again that's a wonderful picture you post with
this journal. I wish we could get a glass of wine,
and go for a walk in the gardens and sunshine
I imagine just outside. Drago (Bob Callahan)

Ok, this time I'm going to finish my post! For some reason I keep getting interrupted when I try. Postus interruptus? Anyway:

Great news about Tony Ward! I'm impressed, but not surprised. I've never seen a bad picture of you and you seem to have an incredible work ethic. Who wouldn't want to work with you? You keep calling yourself an "internet model," but you seem like a pro to me.

As for your website, I can't wait. I know it will be impressive. It's pictures of you, after all. wink

Have fun at your reunion. Are you going to Legals? Or maybe the Union Oyster House?

Is it weird I read your journal from bottom to top? I've just now noticed this.

Cream of wheat sounds too homely. How about French Dip with extra horsey and au jus.
