The Spot
When I was little, I loved to go to White Spot. There is a new one that opened up in The City, and I have not been to one in ages, so I decided to indulge. I had a Legendary Burger with lettuce, onions and tomeato, and french fries (with a side of zoo dip). It should have been a delightful meal. It...

I love the 2nd rejected set, beautiful!
I did not save the world today. I didn't even take the dogs for a walk. Ever get the feeling that you're not making an impact?
Weird Al is not nearly around enough when I need him, but he came through tonight. "White and Nerdy" - golden.
SNL was pretty disappointing this evening. I was really amped, because Dane Cook was hosting ("me and my...

My friend brought over a(nother) baby kitty this morning. She found her at the recycling depot. This kitten is the skinniest thing I've ever seen - a tiny little bag of bones. She's super friendly, and gentle, so I expect the person or persons who raised the litter were kind. The vet said this little one is about 10 - 12 weeks old,...

It's a wonderful feeling when you read a book and get so hooked on the characters, I think it shows a good writer and his use of charactorization, when he can make you really feel about the characters
Rumor has it 2007 they are updating the movie
I heard our teacher read it back along time ago and vaugely remmbering a movie that we watched with it. I wish I knew if it was a dream or a vivid memory of a book I loved.
I read a lot of kids books - I have a hard time giving up on the past.

Woo Hoo!
Oh, I have the bestest news! My neighbour came home fairly late last night and I told him about the lady who had found his kitten (two nights in a row). After some hemming and hawing, he decided that it might be best for Baby Kitty to stay with the lady and her family. Yaaaay! No more outdoor kitty in the cold! I...

I have not seen "The Hills Have Eyes". My mother told me the original scared her and my aunts when they were younger. "Dog Soldiers" is a classic film. I really enjoyed the movie even though it was a low budget film. It was not to bad in my eyes. I loved "Silent Hill" and wrote a semi-blog about it (or at least I think I did). I was so excited to see the movie because I had missed it in the theatres. It lived up to my expectations and I was a little weirded out some.
As for the soaps, everybody has to have some sort of sick secret.
The "Dark Knight" will be an excellent film if it is anything like its predecessor. Did you see that Ian McKellan will play Magneto again? I assume you read the chatter over at www.superherohype.com , they got a lot of rumors. I remeber Arnold was supposed to make a third Conan film but that got sidetracked due to his governorship. And Ray Park was supposed to play the character Iron Fist. Lots of good gossip over there.
I see your a Star Wars fan from some of your blogs, what did you think of the newer trilogy?

There have been some interesting developments in the Backyard Kitten story. My neighbour was over last night and I gave him the SNAP (Spay & Neuter Assistance Program). Poor Baby Kitty was out all last night in the rain

Hey it could be worse, at least he wasn't harvesting kittens for a global internet kitten pie scheme. Saying you are all freckles is meanigless without photographic evidence, do you think special agent Smecker (expert in nameology) would go in based only on heresay?
So there's this spider web on my Star Wars cabinet... I know that cobwebs are the mascot for the ineffective-domestic, but I don't have the heart to get rid of it. There's a small brown spider residing there, very cute.

I watch Prison Break last night too... it is okay to ruin it for me this time.
I agree with you, the show was kind of predictable this time around. Oh, you should also watch Heros if you have time. It was pretty cool.
YAY! Bear is doing well!
Whoa! You have a Star Wars cabinet? Cool!

And he even took the roast beast....
I'm cooking roast beast today. I got all domestic early last week and made some chicken soup, now I'm doing a roast. Typically, I stay clear of red meat, but somebody in my house had a craving for it, and I just couldn't say no. The only meat I absolutely abstain from is pork... I just can't eat...

Dumbledore, I mean. I belong to the Harry Potter group here at SG. Now, I know there are some Harry Potter fans out there who will completely disagree with me and this website (DeceptiviewFilm, you're popping into...

I always thought that Dumbledore died when he fell in the tank with sharks with fricin' laser beams on their heads.

Well, obviously it's Jazz, since the name comes from that old jazz standard, "Rush that Bum out the Dumb-bell Door," made famous by Blind Wasp McGonigle and the Bombus Apidae Quintet.
Hmmm.... I suppose soup is not an interesting topic. It's windy outside, and cold. I'm bored, but unmotivated. There isn't much to do but clean anyway. I had crackers, chicken & peanut butter cups for lunch. I haven't had any fruit today, or veggies... I feel so... so.... so... American. I read somewhere that a North American toddler's favourite vegetable is the French Fry. Sad....

Today, I am making chicken soup. It's a cold day, and I have a cold. I'm not preparing stuff from a box or can, I am actually *making* the soup. Got one of those rotisserie chickens from the store the other day, and when the meat was all picked off, I froze the carcass. I'm boiling the bones right now, with a little bit...

In the dark-ages (before light was invented) people slept with several dogs to keep warm and ward-off evil spirits which caused disease. So you wern't breaking any rules. Well labs are kinda dirty so you may need to shower later. No worries.
This was posted in the Dogs Group here at SG. I really wanted to pass it on, poor Doggie!
Poor Doggie!
Bear Update: Well, as with many older dogs, he's experiencing a little incontinence. Oh dear. Anyone have any advice on natural carpet cleaners? Vinegar & baking soda work for you? I'm also not used to dogs barking out of excitement... he starts barking when...

Well, I brought my new foster dog home this weekend! I volunteered at the same location that he was being shown at for six hours yesterday. There were a couple older dogs, kittens, two puppies, and a pot-bellied pig. A lot of people looked at Bear, but didn't want to take him, because of his age. Bear is a 13 year old lab-shep cross....

I really enjoyed the Lego Star Wars game. When I first saw it at the store, I thought, "hmmm, that'll be lame." But then I saw it pre-played and brought it home, just to try it out. I didn't do anything else for weeks. I dreamed Lego Star Wars I played it so much. It's a great game because anyone can play it. Kids, adults, it doesn't matter your skill level. You basically cannot die, or lose. But to win the game takes a bit of skill. I like that kind of game. Not terribly frustrating, and crazy fun.
I got the first one for the GameCube, but I'll get the second edition for the Xbox, I think. Are there any differences, does anyone know?
