I started on that one as well, reading it where he'd posted it online. Having only read "Little Brother" previously, of Doctorow's works, the only author-specific-cliche that jumped out at me was the idealistic techies in a world of folks who don't get it. I was entertained and still mean to get back to it, but as so often happens with books, distraction proved more powerful.

Presently "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" is frontpaged on my iPhone/Kindle. No, I'd never gotten around to reading it until now. It took me the first chapter or two to shake my expectations from Blade Runner, and now I'm enjoying it immensely.

I actually have a book on the history of the Fez and its impact on Turkish culture,its quite an interesting read.Yeah i bought in Newtown,in fact its only a bloc or 2 away from where is am now,im rather excited and nervous.

When I was going to school in Bonn, there was a giant poster of her from Der Blaue Engel in the train station I arrived in for school every morning, and I really wanted to bring it home with me. Alas, it had been plastered to the wall and was un-peelable.
