First off... so much for consistency. This feels like when I was little and would apologize to my diary for being away for so long.

Anyway, I'm moving! Normally I shie away from exclamation points, but this definitely warrants them!!!!!!!
My good friends and I got all decisive a few weeks ago, albeit it a bit drunkenly, but things are solidified now and it...

Anyone have advice on how to stretch out/ self-crack the upper part of a back (between the shoulders-ish)? I am oh so achey from dat manual labor. We are setting up for the spring quarter rush at school and have been moving stacks on stacks on stacks of books. It is quite literally back breaking.

ALSO, I just spent the last two hours cleaning the...

Lie face down, with an assistant straddled over you. It'll be a bit like that video, with a positional variation.

Your assistant places both palms on your spine where it needs cracking, hands together, all the way out, with elbows locked. Then they pick them up a few inches, to get room to accelerate for a strong push.

Breathe in deep, then exhale forcefully. As your lungs hit empty, your volunteer leans swiftly forward, dropping their weight into their hands, putting it all on the spine where you need a crack.

Frankly, I've never gotten good results out of this technique, but I know folks who swear it's the only thing that works for them.

And obviously, there's such a thing as too much force on your spine. Like having a career in Mad Science, you want an assistant who you can trust to handle delicate jobs.

I usually cross my arms on my chest then 'hunch' forward until I feel the relief from the pressure or a pleasant cracking. However the two-person palms/standing on one's back deal does work as well.

Meanwhile in Japan...

All I've got in me is quick updates.. The housemates and I caught a 24 hour bug or something. It's been a bit longer than 24 though and I'm quite cotton-headed. Had my second (/second-last) final at 8 this morning. I think I did a bang-up job but that's because it was only my music of India class. Worked a full...

Dude bro, check in to your paycheck lest they take out what they overpaid you without saying anything at some random most terrible time.

Feel better!

Ironically, I go to a gym only to grunt.
Don't even pick up any weights.

Well that's just ridiculous! Then nothing would make any contextual sense. If someone is interested in the topic at hand, they can come find it. I will comment directly on blogs if they have the good stuff first. whatever

No way! That's how it's always done! People don't need to know our conversations.

It is a sad day when you realize that you've been just too darn busy to be on SG and then TOO TOO busy and are avoiding it by being on SG.

d) is always my favorite in the alphabetically ordered insights

I'm also a fan of e) the attempt to propel herself with those shoes WHILE in a wheelchair
and f) how the nude colored bodystocking under the gold stuff makes the whole outfite somehow more unwholesome... good thing she learned. Her newer videos make liberal use of metallic body paint instesd

The best way to be productive, often, is to be putting off something else.

Now being productive at SG only counts for so much in the outside world, but at least it tends to introduce one to interesting people.

GOOD LORD it's been years... months.

Well, where to begin? Life has taken a turn for the absolutely lovely in the past few months. I'm going to make an effort to update more regularly so that I can include awesome details rather than merely the awesome big picture. But, here it is:

Saw my family over the holidays. Turns out they're going...

EXCELLENT... I did ask for that. Not sure the same response would work for me though, unless I gender-swap in the nighttime. I wouldn't even know.

Great. Now I have to worry about potentially gender-switching bisexual humanoids.

Time to update my eHarmony profile...

Thinking about finding a new job, except ending the current one will be tough. Looks like I'm about to break up with a 73 year old man. Hmmm...

Also, this is catchy as hell and awesome and hilarious.

It's been almost a month?! Where has my time flown?
Well, it's felt like a productive four weeks since joining my service learning class.
Make a Difference Day on Oct. 27th at the Homeless Garden Project was awesome. Digging in dirt and playing with ducks is always a good time.

Experiencing some major contentment volunteering at the library's fundraising bookstore. Had a...

Sometimes things in my life need to be addressed publicly so:
Gentlemen in the tent in my backyard, you need to leave now.
That is all.

They (plural now) not only are using WiFi, but all of the other amenities. They were invited by a housemate who isn't on the lease, without consulting the rest of us, and now have chinese lantern christmas lights, a space heater, and turntables in the thing. Their tent is like an entire house slowly draining the life forces of my actual house.

This is merely venting, but it raises a question - if you are somewhere purely via the kindness of strangers, do you tread lightly or is it assumed that they invited you so everything goes?

I walked into my kitchen (which has a window that overlooks the backyard) at 9:30 in the morning, only to see 5 people back there, none of whom were residents of our house??

Are these guys just stupid? Is my housemate just stupid? Why in the world are they still here and why did my housemate, when finally confronted, say "I guess they'll be here another week-ish?" His girlfriend is the one on the lease and he is a recent tenant. To which all parties present said HELL NO. But they shall leave or I shall accidentally try out my new mace.

YOWZA! Abbreviated first week of school, only two days, but me oh my. This is gonna be an exciting doozy. What we have on the table: Developmental Psych, Intro to Java, and 3D Modeling and Graphics. Bought myself a 3D mouse (I didn't even have a regular one... silly me) and it feels like the space age has arrived (the thing glows=so fancy...
