It's about that time again; when families gather and I have another six hour drive on my hands. I drive at night because there is less traffic. Sure the fog is so thick you can't see the road, but trust me, you can feel when you're heading off it. Happy Holidays, or even happy regular day for those that don't celebrate anything.
I woke up this morning at 9:10 am. I went downstairs to use the restroom and came back to my room at 8:30 am. Apparently when I am sick I either hallucinate or time travel. I thought maybe I saw the clock wrong and it was actually 8:10, but I spent all of two minutes in the bathroom and came right back.
For my brother's 30th birthday my family decided to surprise the shit out of him. life is changing so quickly for me right now. not really for the average observer to notice, but i feel like i am undergoing a personal transformation. i just want to push past my boundaries and stop living by the rules anymore. i have been too reserved for far too long.
I can't stop listening to this song. Devotchka is such an awesome band. I admit that I didn't hear of them until the "Gears of War 2" trailer, but I'm glad I did. The violin is my favorite sounding instrument, with the theremin a close second.
I've loved this song since it came out, and I just heard it for the first time in a movie. Possibly the only time it has ever been in a movie. The name of the movie is The Big Kahuna. While I'm sad my friend once again denied moving down here I think he is cracking. Once he moves down here and my Dad retires Sacramento while no longer have any ties that bind me there. That is a day I can't wait for. No more traveling. WOOO!
