Having lost my father and several dear (and not so dear - see my blog) friends these last years, I've had to realize that there's no 'closure' or 'moving on'; there is simply life-without, or more bravely life-with-death. I live, and I live with their deaths as either a strong or weak presence daily. involving your mom in your life this way is a good thing, and I honor your approach.
