Moved into the house! going to sleep on the couch tonight because I can't find my sheets (or towels) Rob and I painted the kitchen yesterday and Rob finished up the dining room edges for me smile pics soon, moved mom over this morning, she's going to supervise the rest of my work wink I told Rob my mother said thanks for the hospitality biggrin

What a shock that must've been, especially knowing it was something which wasn't caught when it might have been. Between that and the other....man, you've been through a lot. I appreciate the offer to talk.

I'm always loathe to speak too much about some of this stuff because I know a lot of people have been through or are going through this sort of thing themselves. The last thing anyone needs is another dose of emo in their lives! I always vascillate between spilling my guts about it here and never saying anything personal at all. Not sure what's best. Sometimes I do get blue though and it helps to laugh a little.

Thanks for the silly vid and the image of your mom's urn as the centerpiece at a dinner party.

what a very real way to live with your mother's death. Having lost my father and several dear (and not so dear - see my blog) friends these last years, I've had to realize that there's no 'closure' or 'moving on'; there is simply life-without, or more bravely life-with-death. I live, and I live with their deaths as either a strong or weak presence daily. involving your mom in your life this way is a good thing, and I honor your approach.

on a different note: yay for moving day! now go plant a rowan tree and live out a saucer of milk for the snakes!
