Quite a reward for trying to live a good life. The question then becomes, if you are dead, will anyone figure it out or just not notice that someone is missing? You may well have the wrong friends if this is potentially an issue so just toss them in the nearest body of water, probably at night would be best to avoid fines for littering, and get some new ones. Since we tend to repeat patterns, you may have to do this a few times before things get better. Just think of it as exercise.
