My mom had a hysterectomy yesterday. She got to come home today, so I went to see her tonight and she was in alot of pain. I'm pretty freaked out to dee her like that, especially cause my grandmom just had that same thing a few years ago, so all kinds of female health issues run in my family.

I empathize - "life" has a way of kicking your ass by taking away all of the fun things you used to do in your spare time. The same thing happened to me at around 25, too.
I'm told it will get better. And, truth be told, now that I've found my niche in society, I have a little more time to myself and can start to take up the hobbies I had to abandon years ago.
Sorry if that's not much of a consolation. But do what you love - things will work themselves out.
