Your lilies look gorgeous. Are those orange ones Tigrinins. I just grew some of those about 3 months ago for the first time, mine were the same colour, and I had some white with burgundy. The stems were about 24 inches tall though. I also grew for the first time some gladiolis, they are something when in bloom particularly the variety of colours. I have left the bulbs in the ground to see when they will bloom again, most likely next winter/spring for my climate that is. Sorry cant say for your climate when they will bloom but they will grow really tall, mine about 3 feet, you will need to stake them for stability and cut the flowers when the bloom they create a nice bouquet....

I assume that it works for women too. You are an extremely strong person and I am sure that you are equipped to deal with everything that is thrown at you. If not, there are people (like me... hello) here who care and, whilst (because I know you like that word ) we can't actually help, we are here to listen.
My cousin has Lupus but I'm not sure which kind. I just know that she gets tired and sick really easily. She kind of keeps it to herself, so I don't know that much about it. I saw a documentary, once, in which a woman with Lupus trekked across Peru and climbed a mountain. That's not to belittle the condition but to say that, you are still capable of wonderful things.
Come talk to me for the next few weeks. Even though you'll still miss Flashmo, I'm sure I can make the time fly by using my sparkling wit and lovable personality.
Please, no thanks are needed. Being your friend is easy and you've helped me through some dark times, I kinda owe you one.

OMG you just made me cry thinking about my Cleo. We had 16 wonderful years together and you described her perfectly when you described Elizabeth. My Cleo died at home with us though. I was going to take her that next morning to have her put down, it was time. She didn't want to go that way obviously. She laid down in the kitchen and was gone when we got up next morning. I miss her.

Thanks for the sweet comments. Yes that was a snarky comment you noticed, but I can deal with it and I haven't had that much directed at me. I just really have been annoyed with some of the stuff going on in the Hopefuls group towards other girls. It seems so juvenile! The reason I have decided not to submit a set is because I have a job interview next week at a place I worked at before I got sick. This would involve working in the legal system. It's unfortunate that I need to be cautious but I do. I will still he here to support my friends and hang out in the groups though.
I can't wait to see your next set. When do you plan on shooting again? Yes, it is nice to have you in my neck of the woods. I'd love to meet you in person if I ever have the chance.

I think background is also important....some of the sets taken in a nature setting have been wonderful. Colors and textures to catch the eye and makes the model stand out as well - shows off that red hair too
