Because I don't have a lot of extra money to pay for a hotel since I lost my job, and my friend was going to pay for the hotel, but he's paying alimony still and I guess they took more money out of his paycheck than he expected this time, so he doesn't know if he'll get his tax return in time to pay for my hotel himself.

Man, that game was so tragic to watch.... although I have to say the USA placed the better game... let's hope Tuesday's game goes better.....

Yeeahhh, you might be right. But I've heard enough stories about people being hauled off to interrogation tanks for just pacing the aisles too many times or being in the bathroom too long [ahem] -- so this would probably be a death sentence [no pun intended]. Lol. Arrgghh.
