I agree with almost all of what you said. I think socialism is best served in small measured doses. A fully socialized nation is impractical and...well...retarded. Socialized healthcare....good idea. Social Security...good idea (poor execution). Tax brackets are a pseudo socialistic concept...

Ideally you want whatever government works for you with a sprinkle of socialism to help the little man out.
