speakin of channel surfing, ever pass by the video game channel? There is a show called X-play, now whenever that name X play appears at the bottom of the screen I always think its porn and I stop surfin, then it ust turna out to be video games and i am very dissappointed. What does this have to do with anything? Absolutely NOTHING, but oh well its amusing

putting together dirty words from television shows is oh so wonderful. then again dirty words in general are wonderful even if they arent pleasant, they are just fun. it seems i had some time to watch tv and flip through channels...but then i started class again *sigh* take care!

That's cool. I'll just have to try harder to get a show in NY, the RIGHT coast sometime soon...


ooh ooh ooh . .. i know why the throwing thing is the way it is! Men's and womens bodys are built completely differently (obviously) and it's pure mechanics of the female arm. I actually learned about this when i was getting a fly fishing lession from a professional fly fisherman and fisherwoman. The "right" way to throw a baseball is next to impossible for female arm structure to do. If a female pitcher trained herself to throw like a male major league pitcher, she's putting her arm/shoulder at serious risk for injury because her arm is not meant to bend/twist that way. However, some of the best, most accurate Flyfishmen in the world are actually Flyfisherwoman, because the proper arm-motion to get that rod up and down in the proper manner, to make the fly and fishing-line arc over your body in such a fashion to get it exactly where you want it. . . the female arm/elbo/shoulder structure is just more condusive to bending in the proper way to fly fishing.

Conversely, men's arms can do some wicked sub-marine side-arm pitching. But they'll have a hard time going that one extra twist around to Underhand Only pitching. Well, underhand is actually better for everyone's arm if it's slow-pitching to little kids, or a beer-softball league. But if men tried to do the full windmill-windup of these college girls at the Softball World Series, they'll blow out their shoulders.

I actually watched one time where they had MLB batters trying to hit one of the best Female College Softball pitchers from Softball distance (i think it's 45 feet, maybe less.. as opposed to MLB's 66 feet 6 inches) They couldn't hit her pitches.

This topic is probably the most primative and misused arguement since the birth of the human race. To start with the differences between man and woman were created long before this topic was ever concieved. Physically men and women are different. Nature decided that. If I sound sexist because of it, so be it. I don't consider myself sexist, just that men and women are different physically is an undeniable fact. If you took a man and a woman, had them train and workout out in the exact same way, the man would gain superour strangth, size, and mass while the woman would develop superour agility and flexability and would stay alot thinner. That's genetics. There are ways around these undeniable truths by having the man focus primarly on gymnastics and the woman focusing on weightlifting but they would only reach a type of between point. The man loosing alot of the strength and size to gain an amount of agility and the woman loosing alot of agility and flexability to gain strength and size. Still, a man focusing on gymnastics would never beable to be as flexable and agile as a woman focused on gymnastics in the same way a woman focusing on weight training could never get as strong as a man focusing on weight training. There are still ways around this by introducing forien chemicles to the body such as drugs to artifically increase muscle mass, like staroids, or drugs to increase awareness and reaction time, but still my point is that given the exact same conditions, physically, either the man or the momen would gain superiorty in one area or another.

Competition on the mental field, on the other hand, is far more level. In this area men and women are true equals, the only things that would create people with opposing opinions and views are the varabible factors involved, such as, the enviroment the people grew up in, how much different people learn, how much they can remember, how fast they can axcess the stored information, how effectively they can convay this information to others, how strongly they apply themselves, and so on. Put a man and a women in a room, give them the exact same material to learn and tell them exactly how they are to learn it and, theoratically, both would think in the exact same mannor when relating to the learned materal.

In some sort of conclusion, I'm all for equal rights for everyone. It's the basis for Democracy. But befor you start complaining about someting being "unequal" or "biest toward people that are viewed as inferior" just take a moment to stop and think about what your complaining about before you turn it into another "self-ist" cause, be it sexist, raceist or whatever.
