It's funny. When you're actually doing stuff and going out... the desire to update is significantly lessened. I mean, I'm having a great weekend. Both events have been awesome, but it's just like... how do I talk about it here, what do I say? I don't know.

It seems like the better the event or the more stuff one does, the smaller the summary.

I'm...

I've been learning to operate the WaterJet machine. It's pretty fun, because you can make all sorts of neat patterns on it. I'm definitely going to have to see what I can make in my spare time using that.

I still have to ask if I can buy stuff at cost, or what the deal is with employees using product.

I'm just hungry right now....

Yeah, it's weird. It's been something that's been in the back of my head for quite some time, but yesterday when I was at work... it just kinda hit me. Whoa. blackeyed

To all my friends: I read your updates, but I'm just so out-of-it to respond. Sorry.

I went to the Wednesday Munch today--soopah good. I invited Eva along, she really liked it. Two of my really good friends in the scene were there, so us four chatted for most of the night. PeaJay is great for welcoming people and giving them information. Arcee, his partner,...

How exactly did I get my wish to stop thinking?

I can hardly remember who is what # anymore, but, yeah, okay, I got it. Really, there are only 2 left anyway, we should probably renumber.

Well, it is a very small town, so "new" could mean anyone who walks in the door from somewhere other than there.

At this point, I doubt I'll go back.

ARRR!!!

Today was intense. That's the only way I can describe it. Everything felt off.

I had a nice long chat with a claims adjuster about my accident. It was pretty okay, but it took up so much of my time, argh. Oh well.

I went and had dinner with a friend at one of her friend's house. It was good. Her boyfriend though, was pretty...

ME-TNG

Another concern of mine is that I would not be a dom. I'd be more sub, I'm pretty sure. And usually in the scene it's my understanding there are more dominant guys and submissive women. Is that just a myth?

Yeah... I'm also kind of scared about it too though. I mean, for one thing, Portland's not a big place. Word gets around. For another, I haven't even been in bed with someone in almost six years. Isn't this a little like skipping algebra I and II and going straight to advanced linear calculus?

So, apparently the beginning of the month is a slow time for our company. Maybe it's just today. I don't know what the answer is, but it was definitely boring as all get up. I ended up walking around for a large portion of the day, trying to look busy. Fortunately, I was manning the water-jet machine (more on that in a minute) so I...

Sooo....

Yesterday was not a day filled with driving to Seattle and partying with stupid Vortex people (I don't have anything in common with those people, and the scene has a worse male to female ratio than a prostate cancer clinic. That's including all the girlfriends and wives). That was probably good. I saved a lot of money, too, I think.

I went out instead...

So, I was trying to find an email address for someone, and it wasn't showing up in my stuff that I had recently, so I thought I'd import all my stuff from when I was using Eudora. So now I'm going through all my old email from 2004.

It's half nostalgic, half depressing.

--I found the email address though.

I love doing that!

thanks for the comment, I thought you could definitely relate. I do have the pet sitting job but its not enough to sustain me. I also have an internship thing starting up but again its not enough.

Plus, somehow I got a 700 dollar phone bill! what the fuck is that? That's basically what inspired my emo rant.

I'm not sure what makes me want to stay here really...sometimes I wonder if its really just the myth of SF that I want and not its reality. Also I hate where I'm from...ugh.

being cute doesn't really pay the bills does it?

thanks.

I had a crazy dream last night about getting into this weird car accident--there was a bunch of cars, but somehow, we managed to be completely fine (typical in a dream, huh?) We were on our way to the airport, which was on top of this windy road (the reason we got into the car accident in the first place). I can't remember where we/I...

Holy god, I'm exhausted

I had a really hard time sleeping last night, I ended up getting to sleep around 1:30ish. Not really conducive to waking up at 6:15.

I woke up, and seriously considered not getting out of bed. But I did. I showered and got out of the house and got to work. I had a plan: because I got there at 7:30...

Sweet. Maybe sometime in the future(if'n you trust us) she could watch the chilluns? I figure the first time with a new person should be in the day and just for a few hours, but we are trying to find someone who doesn't mind sticking around and watching them overnight every once in a blue moon.

Soooo. Working is good/bad/everything.

I figured that it would be in my best interest to get out of my house as soon as possible. Beating the morning traffic is essential, and it paid off. I got out of my house at 6:40 and got to work at 7:20, I was very happy with that. Coming home wasn't too great, but it was okay, I can...

So, I woke up bright and early today with a mission. To go into a staffing company, fill out some paperwork, and be sent home without a job. That's what I was kind of hoping, but I was also hoping that I'd get a job too, so I could start making money.

I got the latter.

I'm now a proud employee of a gasket-making company....

It was like Elephant, but it didn't make me unhappy. Probably because random people didn't get shot pointlessly. Only one guy died, and it was his own problem. That doesn't bother me so much.

Hurray for your new job!! biggrin
