I just checked my psychology midterm grade. I was really worried because I really didn't give it much time (I was in and out in 25 minutes, including time it took for them to explain it.
I got a 56/60, so, I'm quite content with that. I successfully allayed my fears about this class.

Hmm....

Mr. S is having a 20% off sale... the possibilities...

You know what I really don't like? There's these elections for Undergraduate Student Council. There are basically two parties running for all the positions. I'll simplify it a little, but there's the white party and the minority party. Truly. So, basically, we have the white party. They advocate stuff like money management, working with local government and bringing more food and (gasp!) a bar to...

Plasma was exciting this week-- I was actually able to pay attention and follow the math mostly. It's actually ok, once you ask the teacher what everything is, rather than passively listening. We also talked about evolution. And why there are no "girl" fields.

ohh, math. That was a sleeper for me in high school. If you cant figure it out on your hand, I dont stinking need it! YeAH! Give me a calculator and a Red Bull, and I'll do some math Dammit!
venice:
No, actually, that isn't at all what it means. We can change our own pictures now, they just get approved by the staff. And that one isn't from a set at all. Sorry. smile

Dun wanna go to plasmuh
venice:
Yes. There are only so many people I can pay good enough attention to, and I'm not willing to neglect them, so when it gets to be too many I freak out. This is why I don't have very many close friends. smile

Oh, and, um, know what you need to do? Cause it has to do with someone you know and something we talked about over tater tots while you were here... wink
trilobyte:
Plasma screens are what I like to call stopgap technology. The best money can buy is designed to only last for three years before needing to be replaced. Screw that, I say. I recommend video projector. Either an installed unit or a portable produce amazing image quality in even full daylight conditions.

Stolen from a Trilo's page. I had to do it, I was bored...

1. Who are you? Some kind of Trilobyte
2. Are we friends? In the most virtual sense, though real life will catch up someday.
3. When and how did we meet? The internet may have been involved.
4. Do you talk to me a lot? Not as much as I could, or possibly even should, but it's the internet and all...
5. Am I fun to talk to? I've enjoyed our journal tagging thoroughly
6. Give me a nickname and explain why you picked it. Cap. Because the captain caveman thing is burned in my brain just a bit.
7. Describe me in one word. Fish-fry! (hyphenated counts as one, and I was going for free association... that's the first thing that popped into my head)
8. What was your first impression? Dude seems pretty cool, and hey he plays bass.
9. Do you still think that way about me now? Yeah.
10. What reminds you of me? Well now Captain Caveman does.
11. If you could give me anything what would it be? Private jet with a custom-paint job of your choice.
12. How well do you know me? Not well at all.
13. Whats one thing that we had and was only ours? That one time on the internet...
14. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn't? Not that I'm aware of.
15. Are you going to put this on your journal and see what I say about you? Been there, done that...

Holy crap. We have a roommate for the room downstairs. This is a lot of stress off my back. It was funny too, cause the mother for the person that wanted it that I found came and hassled me about wanting $700 rather than $600, it just seemed like she was trying to rip me off. And she was from Beverly Hills, drives a brand...

I do not exist. That's my biggest fear, that's also the reason I don't commit suicide, the fear of nonexistence scares me to no end.

But Hotpockets, how did you post this if you don't exist?

Oh, that's a good observation, faithful SG reader. I only exist to people who are actually observant and diligent.

So, I'm playing this thing called Spring Sing....

There's been a lot of talk about death lately. I was walking to Buck-Fiddy to get some food and was thinking about it. (I just looked at my profile picture, and it totally doesn't reflect my mood right now).

So, I first thought what I would think about my past-self if I were to suddenly die right now. Aside from the diappointment for not being...

not sure if it's prompted by death per se, but I've noticed that philosophical issues pop up more frequently with people lately. It's interesting to see their views, and see other perspectives, you know?

Today was interesting--I was awoken by Dustin's alarm clock when he was in the shower--ARGH! Oh well, that was nothing compared to yesterday when I was woken up by a a wrong number a full two-hours before my scheduled time, and then AGAIN an hour after that... jeez. That didn't start my day off very well.

My anthropology class is really fun, I really do...

Friday was neato I guess.

Ariel and I went to dinner and stuffed ourselves silly. Went and saw a concert, after which she went home and I partied next door. Fun stuff.

Saturday was totally lazy--I woke up superlate, missed the first day of the Festival of Books, and then went to Whik's birthday party.

Sunday was equally lazy, I went to the book...

Have you been to the Stanford campus? I was just wonder cuz you're in callifornia. It's a pretty cool place. They have an actual piece of Hockney art in the hospital. So that was nice to see.

Ooh, what's the "Festival of Books"? Sounds like you've been nice and busy.
