i almost wish we had jumped in and moved for december 1st, we may have struggled for a bit, but then we would have been able to actually look for jobs in vancouver. it's difficult to do it from so far, and now that we've stayed, my 2.5 months of necessary money is almost gone thanks to crappy rent here. *sigh*

yeah. well, i'm from toronto. always lived really close to downtown by subway, or right downtown so i never really needed a license. i've got my learners now at least. d20 on the other hand, he had his license, but he was in an accident and his license had expired so they took it away. because he didn't have a license, he needs to pay 1000 to icbc for damage to the other guy's car before he can drive again. it sucks a lot.
we do have somewhere to stay in town. surface, keth in WoW, has offered his place. it's right off davie.
we're not sure what to say to your generosity. it would be really awesome and we'd be able to afford to come, but then at the same time we feel bad accepting it.
i really wish d20's contracts cheque would come in. argh.

Just reminding you about the Vancouver Christmas Party and wow, we have 70 people attending. 
Well life's starting to feel a little more in control again. We're going to do another one of those "where are we going with this company?" meetings again. So hopefully that'll resolve some things at least on the work front.

Looks like work might be getting more stable again, which means spare cash. Who knows I might actually get everything paid off this year. We've been doing proposals on a bunch of huge contracts, some of them year long deals, so things are looking up again.

we are bascially going from Bagkok to all of lower thailand. It's smaller and since we'll only be there a month, we'll get to see more of it. I want to hit as many of the little islands as I can.
