Went to Christine's dad's house today for another Christmas, even though it was BLIZZARDING...
Got a Nasa style survival space blanket, 3 Dexter novels and some cool small stocking stuffers including an emergency Ipod charger that runs on one AA battery. Sweet!

Now I am toasty at work...hoping I will be able to leave at 7am. (It's coming down bad out there).

It's a local homeless shelter. My mom is like, 2nd in command.
Every year they have a toy drive and give out toys to needy families.
It's a good and bad thing sometimes...

Good because 90% of the families are thankful. 5% are families that can't afford to buy their kids Christmas presents...then show...

Christine and I have decided we want to sponsor a kid via one of those "for X amount a day, you can feed a kid" charities, and so far in my research, Savethechildren.org seems to be good.
$0.90 of every dollar goes to the kid.
