The pull cord is not even turning the engine over...at all.

Gotta work 3-11 tonight and Wednesday night. Not a fan of that shift at the hotel.

that sounds so horrible...and shitty apartments and work schedules really blow, I hope that situation is resolved immediately. A lot of times, us women don't realize how badly our own stress is making our partner's problems worse too. Perhaps sit her down and have a cuddle/talk about what is making your life difficult and what you would like her role to be. Many times, we gals just want to know just exactly what you want from us to feel better---kick someone's ass, make a dinner, buy you some beer, give you space, give a blowjob, etc.
I still have hopes for your dreams, even if it takes you longer than you'd hoped to get there. It is worth striving for what will make you happiest.

Interview went well. I find out Monday if I will be called back to the last step which is an EXTENSIVE background check. They contact employers, talk to your neighbors, visit your house...and a psyche evaluation. Pretty intense.
