A crash shook the Councils chamber, causing a stir to pass among those incumbents who were not already embroiled in the fearsome debate, which given a chance would become a full-scale brawl. Bawlter stared straight ahead, running scenarios through his mind as another crash shook the chambers, this one followed, promptly, by an explosion. The debate, which under normal circumstances would...

The blade whistled in at neck level forcing Grim to throw himself backward into a roll. He came up on the soles of his feet a par of slender daggers in his hands. But there were nothing there. Witty banter.
What? Darker said pushing himself back from the table. Replete. He burped, covering his mouth. Sorry. But what were you saying? Witty banter?
Thats what I bring to this partnership, witty banter, Grim said gesturing with chicken bone. That and my incredible knife skills. He snatched up another chicken bone and feigned thrusting each repeatedly at Darker and the...

I've gone back to April and read more of your Five-minute fiction...and I can not understand how you can manage to be so gods damn prolific, haha.
I'm also interested in how you kept jumping back and forth between several different stories in the beginning, then started spending more time on Grim & Darker. Did you plan on moving your focus to this particular piece, or did it just happen?

Yes, it makes perfect sense. One the one hand, you've only given yourself a limited amount of time to write...but you're going to try and get as much stuff in there as possible.
...and you're welcome. As an extremely erstwhile writer (it's a hobby), I'm always interested to read other people's stuff. Keep it coming!
