I can't stand it when people freak out on the internet. I had a guy on myspace call me a hateful, ignorant, closed-minded racist who condems religion and condones the actions of child molesters. I bet you'll never guess why. Okay, so I'll tell you 
I said I don't like the Fox News Network. That was it and somehow based on that one bit of information that guy was able to make that character assessment. I explained to him I wasn't able to understand how he came to those conclusions based on the expression of distaste for a news network and then went on to reveal to him how wrong he was in his judgment. When I told him I wasn't trying to change his opinion, but I'm still entitled to my own, he told me he hopes I get arrested.
That was the first time anyone had ever called me hateful and of the other names he called that one stood out more than any and pissed me off more than any, especially coming from someone who's so self-righteous and disgusting they have to audacity to wish horrible things on other people. I'm the most accepting person I know, damnit! I think it's very wrong to judge people based on their sexual orentation, their ethnicity or their religious beliefs! As ridiculous as is that guy really pissed me off. I know I shouldn't give a shit, because it was some imbecile on the internet, but calling me a cunt wouldn't have been nearly as offensive. If he'd said those things to my face, I probably would have hit him. I know it wouldn't solve anything, but it would feel damn good!
I'm sorry, I went WAY off topic there, but reading your situation made me think of that incident and how much that guy pissed me off
This guy seems kinda upity, but artists are touchy, sometimes I'm a painter and I get really defensive and pissy when people who have never seen my work question my talent and my honesty. You were right to question him, because on a site like this things like that are pretty fucking sketchy. I always like to give people the benifit of the doubt, though, so on the chance he's telling the truth you probably just rubbed a sore-spot This is only a theory!! It's the trusting side of me I just can't shake talking! I could be completely wrong and he could have reacted that way because he knew he'd been found out
