ummm yea.

I've typed about five different things and erased them.
I don't really have anything to say, I've no idea what the day holds, and I'm not in the mood to make an amazing confession.

So... Why don't *you* tell me five different things about you, or what's going on in your day today or an amazing confession. Or maybe even an image that...

I don't think that it matters where the day leads, as long you look ahead and avoid any pit falls on the way. Oh and the side walk gum that allways sticks to your shoe and then to the carpet as you walk in the front door, 'cause that can ruin your whole day.

I may still have thjat image... But I have no idea of where it would be at. All of thje moves have kinda spread all of my crap out....

It could be on a thumb drive... But I dunno.

Is that you?

What a wonderful thing to come home to.

I would say more, but I am exhausted by two days of deep powder skiing and two nights of unbridled hedonism.

There's an old skool 1940's style USO dance taking place here in the next little bit or so. Details are getting loaded onto the events section. It'll be alot of fun because YOU will be there! And if you try to tell me that you can't dance or don't know how, there's a lesson and an open floor on Tuesday where you can learn and...

70? Isn't supposed to be snowing over there or something?

I don't know SC's climes that well.

Heck, I'm in CA and the only thing keeping me warm right now is bourbon.
mastercraftsman:
I've been icing this knee. You know, so I can dance. Anyway, I'm just up for a glass of water. The treehouse, in my humble opinion, needs much consideration before you get started to be successfully done. First, I think the tree should be a Live Oak- green all year, super strong with low slung branches. Think New Orleans Oaks. Or Sherwood Forest. Then the structure should be built with a high strength to weight ratio. Think of woods used in aircraft like Sitka Spruce. Then it should be low impact to the tree, and almost a living, breathing, moving structure in itself, able to survive swaying in the wind. Think Japanese post and beam techniques. Those buildings routinely survive earthquakes. Nails pull out and begin to kill the tree. Some thought should go into building to the shape of the tree rather than drawing something site unseen. Frank Lloyd Wright used to say a structure should look as if it grew out of the landscape. Like a gently sloping branch supporting a few stepped levels rather than one big flat plaform spanning a huge area. More points of support mean less stress on each single point of contact with the tree. But my mind is needing to get back to my dream soon. Pretty groggy. tongue

The rain from today, the warm sun that sent it away and the intense tempreture drop caused fog!
Yay! Fog!

Today it rained.
I'll take my water any way I can get it I suppose.

Ocean views that I want to see one day:
Snow on the beach.
A vast desert of sand that just drops into the water.
A volcano erupting and the lava seeping down into...

Missississippi mud pies are decadent. Tasty, and memorable. I have to say your wishes touch me. I've seen most of those things, no actually now that I think of it I remember a week off the Aleutians where dark clouds and steam were around a billowing spire(initially in my mind I was looking to Hawaii, but no) but not all of them have been happy. More like lonely. Comes with the territory going to sea for so many years either in the Navy or as a commercial fisherman.
It's good that you aren't afraid of the second element. It's mostly what we're made of. I've come to embrace it as a friend.
