There are few places where being an intelligent independant thinker is appriciated and enjoyed. This isn't one of them.

I thought that I'd found a place that wasn't stupidly petty... sigh.. I don't know why it bothers me so...

I spent a year living on $6.30/hr, working ~35 hours a week. That was about 3 years ago. It wasn't ideal but my standard of living was acceptable. I paid my rent, paid my car insurance, ate fine, and went out occasionally. I was broke a lot, but we're talking about a living wage, not a living-well wage.

People need to learn how to make better choices. People also need to learn the glories of beans and rice.
