When I bought my first official Sony headset, it charged the first time and worked fine. When the battery ran out and I tried to charge it... well, nothing ever really worked. I had to mail it off to Sony and pay postage because it was their fault it didn't work. They had to send me a new one because it was too faulty to even attempt to repair. Oh well, I got a newer one that worked at least.
Here I thought buying a more expensive "official" product to use with my PS3 would have been the smart idea, but I've heard cheap bluetooths work just as well... maybe I'll get a back-up just in case?
