I am so busy with work, I don't know how I am going to fit in all I have to do before the holidays.
Whatever I am getting more money than I had ever planned on.
Anyone ever heard Cakekitchen? Band from back when that I am very fond of this week.

The week is flying by. We will be hanging out tomorrow(Thursday) night at that place you should know.
Work is going very well, I have set up remote access for all the boxes in their network and worked all yesterday from home.
Nice to be busy again.

The new job is good and therefore my other customers are calling for help too. Nice to be making some money again.

So I go in tomorrow to sign some paperwork for a new part time gig which means I can keep working with all my existing customers and remain independant.
Really a dream come true to not have to go back to coorporate land.

Slept late today for the first time in a while. It felt very nice.
I think I got some steady part time work for a firm close by and it would seem the money will be good. I am too jaded to believe anything until I get a paycheck but I can't help but hope.

Time to start planning the trip to Canada or overseas.
You know now that Roe vs. Wade will be overturned within the next couple of years.
What is the point of trying to save something that is too far broken?

I am not ready to give up on this country quite yet. At the risk of oversimplifying things, if all the people who were upset at the outcome of the election up and left, would that not simply leave our states to be filled by the same backwards christian nuts? Then the whole country would be full of them... At this point it's just half and half. But to let it spread throughout... I don't know. It may be too far gone, and I may be quite naive. But I can' t give up yet. We need Bill Hicks, dammit.
