Happy Thursday.

I am in an interesting predicament. Indeed. I've now got 2 jobs. One knows about the other, but not vice versa. Wish me lucking in working it all out. Hey, it's not a bad thing right, to be overemployed, instead of underemployed? tongue

And this isn't even counting my own private ventures, either. shocked

I am prepared for a lot of fabulousness to come my...

I'm actually extremely excited about an interview I have tomorrow. Wish me luck. (Oh, and run, don't walk to see Walk the Line, AMAZING flick!)

My life has been moving in very interesting directions lately! If I was able to list every job that I've ever had on one mile long resume, it would boggle your mind. Seriously.

Someday I'll go in depth about the...

Water and sleep! Those are the two that I think most people forget the most. Although suntan lotion probably ranks right up there as well. I am like you and basically cannot get away with not wearing it, so I find myself chuckling over those who fry themselves silly every year. There's never any result from telling them either. They just don't believe! whatever

This entry makes me realize how much I miss you! kiss

My add-on: Listen to at least one piece of music every day you've never heard before.

Oh, and pursue your interests to the fullest, and don't waste time on empty obligations. Life's too short. biggrin

Edited to add - I soooooo miss your rooftop. Best rooftop I've ever spun thoughts sitting upon.

This is seriously one of the most unintentionally hilarious things that I have EVER seen.

And that, my friends, is really saying something. tongue

Watch the entire thing and tell me what you think about the "carrot" segment. Oh me oh my. eeek

Have a great weekend.

When I'm feeling melancholy, sometimes I use music to help me feel more like myself.

These are some songs that I've been listening to tonight, so you can appreciate them, too:

*disclaimer...please note that some of these songs are even older than I am (whoooaaaah!)

Low- On the Edge Of
KMFDM- Naive
Nitzer Ebb- Hearts and Minds
Sylvester- You Make me Feel Mighty Real
Buzzcocks-...

I've been listening to a lot of a band from PDX called The Feelings. I went to a lot of their shows, along with a band called IQU, and I think you'd like them.

And thanks for the birthday sentiments!

This is big news (at least to me)....

Holy mutherfucking SHITE! I can still beat match!!!! love biggrin

It's a little weird doing so without the Technics, I must admit. Now I'm finally joining the digital possibilities. However it happens, though, it's all good.

Today was a good day, and it's only begun. kiss

Bad kitty!! I have a couple of nasty scars that run down the inside of my right forearm from about halfway to my wrist up to my elbow.

My cat was an indoor cat at the time, and I used to have to pick him up whenever I answered the door or he'd run out. One time, I grabbed him to get the door and the person on the other side sort of bounded through when I opened it, and it scared the crap out of poor Samuel L. I had to bandage up my entire forearm to work (I was cocktail waitressing at the time) and it looked like I'd tried to kill myself.

Good times!

If you reside in the state of California, here is something that I would like to share with you. Or if you know of someone who does, this is pretty neat.

The California State Controller's Office database has a list of people who are OWED monies and/or property, and you can search HERE.

And here is a rad site that you can use to make...

So I'm curious about something. Where did you go to school and why?

My answer is not that conventional, but nothing about my life is conventional, so I'm just keeping within that theme. biggrin

For all intents and purposes, I've been out on my own since age 15, call it what you will, throwaway kid, whatever. So sue me for never graduating high school properly. I...

SHOE DESIGN!! shocked I'm a freak for shoes. That's just amazing!

My story...boring. I'm majoring in Law, nothing more. But I really love it!
Even though I'd like to work as a make-up artist, and i wish I could draw better. I've never attended any school or anything. And I guess it would be nice
fej:
I went to Orange Coast College right out of High School, cause that was the next step. I thought i wanted to go into broadcasting or recording, BUt at that time, school wasnt top priority, I liked to hang out and be social, and go get drunk and watch movies, or hang out at London Exchange. Then I needed money and work was more important. I got the job I have now when I was 22 (15 years ago), so a degree didnt seem important. I would rather work, party, etc..
I went back to Rancho Santiogo College to study Sign Language and Broadcasting (mainly the audio side of it) but work hours got in the way again and had to drop. Finally in 2000, after realizing that computers were my knack) I went back to shool at University of Phoenix in Fountain Valley. When I was at Rancho Santiago and OCC, I had a 1.25 gpa. Tho=rough applying myself and working hard, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in IT with a 3.9 gpa. (I also was sober, so that helps a lot)
I should have known that computers were my thing when I got kicked out of computer class in high school (1986) for hacking. I wish sometimes insteasd of taking that as a negative and turning my nback on computers for years, I would have turned it into a positive.Imight be rich now. smile But I have learned a lot of other things in that time, things I wouldnt trade. Both good and bad.

Last night, I went out after work.

A friend was in town visiting from the UK, and for a nice change, we weren't yelling at each other in front of a bass bin at a club. tongue

Good Indian food, good friends, I think this is something that I can be happy about.

How about you?

Have a lovely weekend. smile

Didn't receive the news I was waiting for today.

And that just is. There's no emoticon to express the sentiment, so maybe the italics will do for now. Yeah, that's it.

Today's quote is brought to you by Henry Miller. I should really read one of his novels...I'm versed in Anais, but not him. For shame.
