i had stay in both..and the one on lakeshore drive is more fun..however i think is way overhyped..the one on the lakeshore has a bar on the 33th floor and faces the lake really cool...staff..they think they are cooler than the hotel and they are not..i will advice you to use hotels.com..usually they have good rates and double check with the hotel because sometimes some-things are extra..for example a king bed...to be completely honest..i think the hard rock hotel is more rock n roll than the w..but it is a matter of opinion...
