So I have to admit I have, like, nothing to say.

I went to the laundromat this morning and it was so busy that I had to do my whites and darks in the same load. On hot. the bravery of my cavalier attitude towards the purity of my clothing colour is matched only by the sincerity of my hopes that I get my dryer...

He used to sleep in the branches last year. It was soooo adorable, but he'd always wake up before I could locate my camera.

So my week off is going OK.

I had lunch with my old boss and with my old landlord, both of whom are retired now.

I am watching a lot of the West Wing (I bought the third season and rented the first two). It's such a good program - I probably like it more than Buffy, but that could just be because I've watched...

Oh. I figured you were about 5'6" or so. Oops.

He won't wrong me. I've known him for 25 years. He's always beaten himself up over things like calling to cancel plans. I doubt he'd have it in himself to hurt me. He offers the most sincere apologies I've ever heard. smile

Hahaha. I knew what you meant. kiss

So a whole week off and nothing to do. I've never done this before. Any time I've taken this much time off, it was either to moonlight at some other job, or to visit my family (which is work, just of a different kind).

There are some songs that must be sung in a British accent, even if you are not British. Cool for Cats,...

I suppose now isn't the best time for snarky comments about a country getting the government it deserves. Like Kerry was going to be that much better?

The best part was when one CNN commentator asked 'so at this time last election where were we?', and the other one got this really ashamed look on his face, and off the top of his head recited...

So work told me that I have 15 days of unused vacation, and I have to take 10 of them before Christmas. I was going to visit my friend in Singapore, but now I have decided that I am going to take some time off and write some academic papers, in case I ever want to go to grad school (I lost all my undergraduate...

The mental imagery of leather-clad Bert & Ernie performing in front of a bunch of bikers is almost too hilarious to take!

You know, I consider myself someone who knows their way around an income tax form. And yet the federal government sends me its' reassessment, and for like 20 minutes they had me thinking I owed them an extra $3,000. $3,000! There is no way I would be off by $3,000!

And it turns out that I wasn't. I was really less than $7 away from...

I just got back from seeing one of my co-workers at a comedy club. I am glad to say that she didn't suck so I don't have to lie to her tommorow. It's weird though, becuase she's not particularly funny at work.

Only if Bush loses. There's no point in actually "counting" them otherwise since his bro runs the state. Ahh, family politics/corruption. The Bush's learned from watching the best: the Kennedys. Hehe

Came back early from Ottawa because I lost my bank card so had to go and replace it. Home was OK. My brother, who was in Europe last year, bought me a Liverpool Micheal Owen jersy, and I finally got to pick it up. It was very nice of him.

The season premier of Rick Mercer's Monday Night Report was tonight. there was a very...

Baby, you have no idea how much I wish we could chat more. I have a feeling you'd be the one to stop the torturous escalator.

P.S. Yes, the penguins rocked. You need more pics of yourself, by the way.

Heheh, the irony of a Canadian knowing more about football (ok soccer tongue ) than an Brit.
Sorry to hear about your card and having to cut your holiday (ok vacation!) short. Hope you got everything sorted out.

I will be leaving shortly to visit my parents and grandmother in Ottawa. (We celebrate thanksgiving a week late in order to get the cheap turkeys). I will be back early next week - nobody steal my stuff while I'm gone!.

Hey, I likes what I likes.

Eurotrip had a really good first 20 minutes but then was too sophmoric and silly (of course, what was I expecting)....

My mind boggles at film ratings.
Here in the UK we used to have U, PG, 15 and 18, that was it.
It was nice and easy, simple but effective, then they start messing about with 12's and putting letters (which no one has a clue what they mean) on then end of the original ones.

I have no idea what an 'R' rating is but I'm guessing it's adults (or late teens) only?

The breakfast club is a kids film! (ok it's one of my favourites blush but still)..

Puppets? I'm not even going to begin thinking about that one~I'll get brain ache biggrin
rorschach:
Yeah, Dave has worked on alot of big stuff, from Seinfeld to SNL to the Clerks cartoon to films.

Nah my Charvel is just a regular lookin' thing...see below:

I just love the Floyd Rose locking tremolo system on it tho'
