Shit I would be so scared if the cops pulled guns on me! They held me and my boyfriend for 20mins. Then just let us go. They didn't even say sorry. Made my boyfriend 10 mins late for work and made me miss the bus. Oh and the robbery was at a Mr. Sub and we were just walking by.

Happy new year everyone!

Christmas was neat. My family was kind enough to get me a backpack (no more having to lug my tiny, heavy briefcase around), and an ipod (now my entire music collection can travel with me!). It was nice to see my family again.

Hey mate - thanks for the birthday wishes. Rough start thanks to fun workplace drama (tell me you need a lovely assistant), but a great finish, with the girl spoiling me as a crew from the office joined us for delicious steaky things.

The December 6th thing used to really bug me, because I hated hearing about what a dark day it was all the time (dumbass massacre taking the focus off ME and my day), but I haven't thought about it in many years. Which I guess means that the national memory of the event is subsiding somewhat. Either that, or I pay less attention to the news than I used to.

I remember I went to a concert with my little sister and we went to check out coats. It was a long line and my sister had spike braclets on. We checked our coats and then went to go in to the concert. The guy at the door into the concert hall told my sister she couldn't bring the braclets in and would have to go back and check them. It sucked so much for 2 reasons....1 the line was so long and 2 she bought the braclets for the concert!

The dryer saga is over! Well, not over, but in a new chapter. I am not going to rewire my entire place but have got a new dryer which can run off a standard 100 volt current.

Oddly enough, this new dryer seems to have a very light film of grease or something on the inside. I'm not sure if this will harm the clothes...

Have they unveiled the new TLR-NAL structure to Carswell yet? Apparently, Mike Wilens, the president of Thomson-West is now CEO of all North American Legal operations. This is likely to mean nothing to you, but it means more work for me since it looks like we might be taking on some of Carswell's market research. We may get to hang out sooner than later.
